The 5000m2 property is set in a small hamlet, right next to the church in São Cipriano, located near Resende on the Douro River, in the district of Viseu. The nearest airport is Oporto, approcimately one hour away.

We offer an exclusive, personalised package geared, primarily, towards families who wish to experience a different type of holiday where they may relax and be waited on while equally enjoying and participating in some of the traditions and customs of village life in northern Portugal. Whether for families with children or groups of friends, we provide an authentic experience for all which goes beyond the conventional idea of tourism. Our all inclusive family orientated holiday begins when you are picked up from the airport and transported to the house in São Cipriano.

What better than to get up in the morning, have breakfast served on the balcony, and after your`re free to enjoy the day in the region, be it for a swim in the river, a trip to the local spa in Caldas de Aregos, the open air swimming pool, to take a cruise along the River Douro or simply to walk amongst the magnificent countryside? A traditional lunch is served back at the house with home produced biological wine, after which you may rest in the garden or take to your rooms. Your day is organised to meet your requirements and you are free to come and go as you see fit without having to do anything but enjoy and relax. An evening meal is also served which may be an outdoor barbeque or a delicacy cooked with the local produce.

In summer the region has its festive season and there are traditional `festas` where the local communities come together to share customs, eat, drink and dance.

Our aim is to provide families with a unique holiday in a friendly, welcoming environment where relaxation and authenticity are the key.

Prices: Our prices range from 100€ to 150€ per day, per person depending on group size and requirements. Free for children under 5 years of age and half price for those between 5 and 12 years.
